Alpha was a nice little town
But now its run by asshole clowns
Not all are bad, as we know
But there are five that need to go
So I hope that when November gets near
You all get out and show you care
To bring back your town for all to say
We're proud of our town, the old way
So let's take it back from all the wrong doing
And get rid of those who give us a screwing
So get out and vote to take back your town
From this group of asshole clowns

Alpha continues to use social media to discuss concerns and local news

Alpha residents continue to share opinions on hot topics and news even though a defamation lawsuit was filed against the Save Alpha campaign.

Local officials express concerns that the lawsuit is "a smoke screen" to keep residents offline during Mike Savary's embezzlement trial.

The lawsuit was filed by 5 council members: Craig Dunwell, Lou Cartabona, Mike Schwar, Carol Schwar and Mike Savary. The 5 are using the Borough to file the suit, though their complaints seem to be personal.

Craig Dunwell seems to be in Ukraine. Will he attend Savary's trial? Was he involved?

Mike Savary's embezzlement doesn't shock residents who are familiar with his character. Alpha demanded Savary resign from council but he refused.

Mike Savary has been asked three times by Alpha taxpayers to resign from his council seat after stealing from Alpha and losing our town's trust.

Alpha residents say purchase orders created by Mike Savary to embezzle from Alpha Borough "went missing" from the office of Municipal Finance Officer, Lorraine Rossetti, after many people witnessed Craig Dunwell spending time alone in the office. Dunwell was seen using the CFO's computer and accessing files.

Not only does Mike Savary remain on council, he uses his position to harass taxpayers. Residents constantly complain that they feel bullied by Savary.

Mike Savary has placed an ad in Treasure Hunt on page 40 for his shady "business".

Most of the forum users' comments have been deleted. We checked all online news articles about corrupt councilmen Mike Savary and Craig Dunwell, and we noticed the same censorship. Why wasn't Alpha allowed to comment?

It appears the " Obama Politics have moved into Alpha - " thieves - liars - non transparent " - I have to agree with "surreal" look who approved the invoice for payment and it will be like a domino effect and " game - set match " - where there is smoke there is fire - I'm sure there is more not only this to come out so far - a little town like Alpha impounded with " thieves" at the helm!

Attention 7th Avenue residents:

Councilmen Craig Dunwell and Mike Savary met with Alpha's municipal engineer on 7/2/13.  Their meeting involved walking along 7th Avenue, studying properties and discussing how homeowners will be affected by sidewalks and curbs to be installed this fall.

Savary and Dunwell were seen trespassing and touching private property.


Dunwell and Savary acted unprofessionally on 7/2/13, disrespecting residents on 7th Avenue.

Corruption on Alpha council and public opinion

Residents are complaining that Alpha has been overrun by crooks. How many more news stories will taxpayers read about alleged crimes committed by council members who were voted in to represent our best interests? Will the actions of certain council members cause residents to take a stand against them?

It's time to vote corruption out of Alpha town council, before it's too late.

Mike Savary was arrested for his money making schemes yet is still a council member. Craig Dunwell was involved in threatening a woman's life but bounced NJ vs Dunwell into dismissal. Now residents say Craig Dunwell faces new harassment charges, and possibly will be forced to take responsibility for his actions, which is rare.

Popular public opinion is that Dunwell, Pfefferle and Schwar must have somehow personally gained from Savary's money making schemes.
 





Chris Pfefferle lied to Alpha regarding his intentions for the police contract. Pfefferle also lied about his living situation to stay on council during important decision making. Chris Pfefferle spends a lot of time with our current council members and is said to still play a key role in management of Alpha's financial issues.  End the corruption, vote against Craig Dunwell in November. Demand Mike Savary resign. Question why Carol Schwar's husband replaced Chris Pfefferle. Where is the transparency?

Was The Sunshine Law broken at 8:15 am on 5/22/13?

On 5/22/13 at 8:15 am a local resident witnessed the meeting of several council persons.

  

This may violate the New Jersey’s Open Public Meetings Act, known as "The Sunshine Law," which ensures decision-making government bodies conduct businesses in public.

GUIDELINES FOR FILING A COMPLAINT

TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ETHICS LAW

N.J.S.A. 40A:9-22.1 et seq.

 

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-22.1 et. seq., the Local Finance Board (Board) within the Division of Local Government Services, has the power to initiate, receive, hear and review complaints, hold hearings and enforce the provisions of the act and impose penalties with regard to possible violations of the Local Government Ethics Law.

Specifically, N.J.S.A. 40A:9-22.5 sets forth the code of ethics for local government officers or employees who fall under the jurisdiction of the Board.  If the actions of a local government officer or employee have violated any of the provisions of the ethical standards contained in N.J.S.A. 40A:9-22.5, a complaint may be filed against that individual and submitted in accordance with the process set forth in N.J.A.C. 5:35-1.1(a) and (b) and outlined below.

Every complaint alleging that a local government officer or employee, who is not regulated by a county or municipal code of ethics, shall be in writing and signed by the complainant and shall include the following:

·    Identify each section of the Local Government Ethics Law alleged to be violated as set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:9-22.5;

·    State the name(s) and title(s) of each party involved in the action and against whom the complaint is filed;

·    Set forth in detail the pertinent facts surrounding each alleged violative action;

·    Indicate whether the complaint concerns the complainant in any way and what, if any, relationship the complainant has to the subject of the complaint; and

·    Indicate any other action previously taken in an attempt to resolve the issue and indicate whether the issue is the subject of pending litigation elsewhere.

Provide, if available, all supporting information for each alleged violative action.

If a complaint is submitted anonymously, the Board may review the complaint and authorize an investigation but the complainant will not be notified of the outcome of the investigation.

Note that the Board shall not process a complaint on a matter which is pending in a court of law or administrative agency of the State.
